How often is a CAS sent?
As per SEBI guidelines, if there is any transaction in any demat account of an investor or in any of their mutual fund folios, a CAS is to be sent to the investor. It is sent monthly with details of holdings and transactions executed in the previous month.
However, if there is no transaction in any of the investor's folios or demat accounts in any month of the year, the CAS is sent every 6 months with details of holdings.
