Why is there a Delivery Instruction Slip (DIS) charge in my ledger?

DIS charges are levied on the sale of securities in your trading account. When you sell a security, the shares are debited from your demat account (if the PoA/DDPI is activated) and the DIS charge is debited to your ledger.
