Can I trade Sovereign Gold Bonds (SGBs)?
After an SGB issue closes for public subscription, the units are listed on the stock exchanges within 15 days.
- Only SGBs held in demat form can be traded on the exchanges.
- SGBs can be sold and transferred as per the provisions of the Government Securities Act, 2006.
- Partial transfer of SGBs is also possible.
