What is the procedure to close my trading and/or demat account?

You can close your account either online through MyGeojit or by submitting a form at your branch:
- MyGeojit :
Step 1. Log in to MyGeojit and go to Services & Downloads
Step 2. Select Forms > I want to close my account under Account Closure
Step 3. Select the accounts you wish to close (trading, demat) > Proceed
Step 4. Select the Reason for closing > Generate OTP
Step 5. Enter the OTP > Proceed
Step 6. E-sign the generated closure request form

- Read and accept the Terms & Conditions
- Enter your Aadhaar Number > Send OTP
- Enter the OTP > Verify OTP
An email confirming the account closure request will be sent to your registered email ID.
Alternatively, you can contact your branch and submit a Closure Request Form along with any unused DIS (Delivery Instruction Slips).
