How can I update my PAN in my account?

No, it is not possible to update your new PAN in the existing trading and demat account. You will need to create a new account using your new PAN. Only NRI's can have two accounts.

However, if you wish to change the PAN details given in your trading and demat account, you will be required to submit the following at your Geojit branch: 

Sl No.
Letter stating valid reason to update/ modify PAN
Confirmation letter from the Income Tax deptDeclaring cancellation of the existing PAN.
CKYC & KRA-KYC form 

NOTE: The client need to first close the existing account if they want to create a new account.
