What is a Composite Index?
As every portfolio is unique, Portfolio Insights creates a customized benchmark index based on your portfolio allocation to large, mid and small/micro-cap stocks. Based on your allocation, the investment amount will be virtually invested in:
- BSE Sensex
- BSE Midcap
- BSE SmallCap
Your investments are then tracked in relation to these indices. The purpose is to ensure that compare your returns with the right index.
