What is a special pre-open session? For which stocks is the special pre-open session applicable?
Special pre-open session is a short window in the stock market before normal trading starts. Only Limit orders are accepted in the special pre-open session.
The special pre-open session is applicable to the below type of securities:

- Re-listed securities—i.e., when trading resumes after delisting or suspension.
- Stocks undergoing corporate restructuring (merger, demerger, amalgamation, capital reduction/consolidation, or other schemes of arrangement as per law) on the “ex-date” of restructuring.
