How can I open a Resident status trading and demat account offline with Geojit?


To open a Resident status account, the following documents must be submitted at a branch along with a signed account opening form. Use our branch locator to find a Geojit office near you for further assistance.

Bank Account Proof
* Self-attested

* Accepted proofs:
i. Passbook- front page
ii. Bank account statement- of the past 6 months
iii. Cancelled Cheque- with details of client name, IFSC and MICR

Income Proof for Derivatives/ Commodity Trading (if required)
* If annual income is given, any of the following documents must be submitted (self-attested):
i. Latest Income Tax Return
ii. Bank statement- of the past 6 months
iii. Salary statement- of the past 3 months

If annual income is not given, any of the following documents must be submitted:
i. Net Worth Certificate- certified by a CA 
ii. Self-attested holding statement
