What are different types of Corporate Actions?
The two types of Corporate Actions include:
1. Mandatory Corporate Actions- They are initiated by the Board of Directors of the company.
Shareholders don't have to act on these actions, but are affected as beneficiaries.
They include Dividends, Mergers, Stock splits, Bonus issues, etc.
2. Voluntary Corporate Actions- Here, shareholders are given the option to participate in the action. For processing the action, a response is required to be communicated to the company.
