Can I trade in illiquid options contracts?
Trading in contracts is activated based on their liquidity. We do not permit orders to be placed for F&O contracts that are far and mostly illiquid. As per exchange regulations, we have put pre-risk controls in place for trades to avoid abnormal price movements.
Online clients who wish to trade in such Illiquid contracts that are due to expire in 90 days can accept the conditions on the pop-up message displayed during order placement.
Offline clients should kindly contact your branch to activate trading in illiquid contracts in your account.
