What is a Contract Note? Where can I view my Contract Notes?

A Contract Note is a confirmation of trades executed by a client on a particular day. It provides a legal record between a client (you) and a broker (Geojit), with respect to the settlement of trades.

It is made available based on the client-type:

Client	Mode of Communication
Digital Contract Note (DCN) client	It will be forwarded your registered email ID by the end of the day and can be downloaded from MyGeojit.
Non-DCN client	It will be forwarded by post to your registered home address and can be downloaded from MyGeojit.

To access your Contract Notes through MyGeojit:

Step 1. Log in to MyGeojit and go to Statements

Step 2. Select Contract Note

Step 3. Select the From Date and To Date > Submit

Step 4. Daily contract notes for the selected period will be shown. Select the contract note you require, and it will be downloaded as a PDF.

Password to open a contract note:

The first 4 characters of your PAN, followed by the date and month of your Date of Birth in ddmm format.

For example, if your PAN is DTHPP2419D and DOB is 10/03/1980, your contract note password will be DTHP1003.
