Why was my BTST order rejected with the reason "Security not active for the product type"?
Your BTST order may get rejected for 2 reasons:
- Not all stocks are eligible for the BTST facility. It is only available for securities approved by Geojit, and can vary from time to time. You can check the current list of BTST eligible stocks.
- The BTST order facility is only available for trades executed through NSE (not allowed for trades on BSE).
