Can I convert my order type?

Yes, positions opened during the day can be converted on the same day based on order type:  

Product	Conversion Requirements
Open Intraday positions	* To Cash, BTST or MTF order by 3:15 p.m.  * Conversions from intraday to delivery/BTST/MTF will be allowed only if there are sufficient margins available in your account.  * Once converted, your order will not be considered for auto square-off at 3:15 p.m.
Open Cash positions	* To Intraday order before 3:15 p.m. If converted to intraday, your order will be considered for auto square-off at 3:15 p.m. * To BTST or MTF order by 3:30 p.m.
Open BTST positions	* To Intraday order by 3:15 p.m. If converted to intraday, your order will be considered for auto square-off at 3:15 p.m. * To Cash or MTF order by 3:30 p.m.
Open MTF positions	* To Intraday order by 3:15 p.m. If converted to intraday, your order will be considered for auto square-off at 3:15 p.m. * To Cash or BTST order by 3:30 p.m.
