Why am I unable to trade in securities categorised GSM Stage II or above?

As per the applicable Graded Surveillance Measure (GSM) surveillance measures, securities categorised Stage II or higher require an Additional Surveillance Deposit (ASD) of a minimum of 100% of the trade value. This amount may remain blocked by the exchange for a minimum of 3 months, even after you sell it.

Hence, such trades are restricted on our online trading platforms as a precaution. However, if you wish to purchase/sell these shares, you can get in touch with your branch or call our customer care line. On acceptance of the risks associated with dealing in such shares, you can place an order through our customer care agent, provided there are sufficient margins in your trading account.
