What is an Offer Document? What are the different types of Offer Documents?

An Offer Document is a document that contains details of a mutual fund scheme offered to the public for investments by an Asset Management Company (AMC). It consists of:
A) The Scheme Information Document (SID) which contains all scheme-specific information.
B) The Statement of Additional Information (SAI) consists of statutory information of the mutual fund house.

SEBI mandates that all the information that an investor may require to make an informed investment decision should be available in these documents.
