How can I disable my current TOTP?

If you feel your TOTP is being used by someone to access your account, you can disable the setting and re-enable it for safety. This can be done either via the mobile or web platform.

Step 1. Log in to FLIP Web and go to your Profile 

Step 2. Under 2-Factor Authentication Click On TOTP Login

Step 2. Click Generate OTP and enter it > Submit

Step 3. Enter your Current Password for FLIP

Step 4. Enter the TOTP generated by your Authenticator app > Disable

TOTP will be disabled in FLIP. We also recommend that you remove the account added to your Authenticator app.

2. To disable TOTP via FLIP Mobile

Step 1. Log in to FLIP Mobile

Step 2. Go to Setting in the More tab. Click on Security and then TOTP Login

Step 3. Click Generate OTP and enter it > Submit

Step 3. Enter your Current Password for FLIP

Step 4. Enter the TOTP generated by your Authenticator app > Disable

TOTP will be disabled in all Geojit platforms. We also recommend you remove the account added to your Authenticator app.
