Can I invest additional funds into my PMS account?

Yes, you can invest additional funds at any point in time. However, this is subject to maintaining a minimum balance of Rs. 50 lakhs in your account. If your portfolio value at the time of re-investment is less than Rs. 50 lakhs, you will be required to bring in funds so as to make your NAV reach the minimum holding requirement of Rs. 50 lakhs.

For example:

Scenario 1- Portfolio value less than Rs. 50 lakhs
Mr John's portfolio value is Rs. 42 lakhs. If he wants to make an additional investment, he will have to bring in at least Rs. 8 lakhs so that his total PMS value meets the minimum requirement of Rs. 50 lakhs.

Scenario 2- Portfolio value more than Rs. 50 lakhs
Mr John's portfolio value is Rs. 70 lakhs. If he wants to make an additional investment, he can do so in multiples of Rs. 1 lakh.

Additional funds can be brought as:
  • A cheque in the name of Geojit Financial Services Ltd- PMS. The portfolio name is not required to be mentioned on the cheque.
  • A bank transfer via NEFT/ RTGS/ IMPS transfer.

Please contact a Geojit branch or our PMS department to get your latest Portfolio value.

Refer our PMS bank account details to make the transfer to your respective portfolio.
