How will I receive corporate actions that accrue on securities during the lending period?

Securities that are eligible for corporate actions are subject to either foreclosure of lending or adjustment based on the type of corporate action:
  • Dividends result in the applicable dividend amount being recovered from the borrower on the book closure/record date, and credited to the lender.
  • Stock splits result in the position of the borrower being proportionately adjusted, and the lender receives the revised quantity on the reverse leg settlement date (quantity after adjusting for the split).
  • For all corporate actions except dividends and stock splits, transactions are foreclosed on the concerned ex-date.
